Sex Appeal

Joshua Dorsey is one of my young models. after seeing his older cousins do the modeling thing for my upcoming greeting cards he decided that he also wanted to give it a try. so I took him up on the offer and told him to come along with his older cousin Raekwon Harris. at first I didn't think that Joshua was modeling material but when he came out of his shirt I saw the possibilities. in black America it is often taboo for another guy to photograph young men this way, but as a photographer I was tired of just seeing white boys or young men on cards in stores that caters to black people. I decided if it's okay for young white boys to be on greeting cards why not put black teens on some to. but I can clearly see so far at least in Chicago no one is trying to hear me, or give me a chance, some think it's a form of child porn, or pedophilia, I disagree because Joshua is at the beach and it's summer time, also he's not naked below the waist. and he's not in a sexual position with a female and most boys tend to walk around shirtless during the hot days of summer. while some hate me for doing shots like this, there are many who love it. some people have asked where are the females at? well to be honest I am just working with the fellas right now if this launches then I will use females, Joshua Dorsey isn't that young but he is in his late teens. I also want to use females who really want to do this, I don't promise any one the cover of vogue or other big name magazines or T.V commercials, I do promise them this if I choose to photograph you then your image has been chosen for my greeting cards. the title sex appeal simply means you have to have the look to attract the bee to the nectar which is simply beauty. " I say to my critics what's wrong with girls and boys being attracted to each other I believe God meant for us to be that way. none of my young models are forced to do anything they feel uncomfortable with doing, Joshua was with his older cousin who is 22 years old Raekwon Harris and he had every opportunity to stop doing the shoot but he chose not to. new ideas are often misunderstood until some white person gets in the game.
