March 29 2014 a young black man was shot in the back 7 times and killed by Chicago Police on the south side of Chicago in an alley, in the third district. the police says he had a gun, others tell a different story. Just last year a 15 year old black boy was shot and killed in the Englewood area in Chicago.

Family members join Protesters and took to the streets for two weeks demanding justice, but nothing was ever done. Police would destroy the memorial that they erected for Rasaan who was only 21 years old at the time he was murdered. a small riot broke out behind his death.
