Beneath it's beautiful skyline is total chaos. Chicago is deadly, children are being slaughtered in her streets everyday. Chicago is also divided it says it's diverse but when you travel deep into it's neighborhoods and  beyond downtown you find that it is not so diverse  you will not find whites living in Englewood or Chatham only poor blacks in Englewood and rich blacks in Chatham. Poor people are treated worse then dogs I say this because I once lived in Englewood, I know the utility companies jacks up the people bills to get the government money. the Mayor closed several schools in that area. Police are corrupt and really don't care about the people they serve. there are no real good hospitals in that community dub one of the worse in the country. just a few months ago I remember waking up and going to sleep to the constant sound of sirens welling. the young poor black children called themselves savages, the definition of savages is un tamed beast. Chicago isn't what you see on T.V it's really rough here. Rent is sky high if you don't get section 8 and there are a lot of homeless children here, no one seems to care they only pretend to for the cameras.

Raekwon Harris is only 19 years old and has landed a dream job with the railroad. he's the oldest in his family and is on a path to being some one who made it out of the ghettos of Chicago. March 29 2014 a young black man was shot in the back 7 times and killed by Chicago Police on the south side of Chicago in an alley, in the third district. the police says he had a gun, others tell a different story. Just last year a 15 year old black boy was shot and killed in the Englewood area in Chicago.

Family members join Protesters and took to the streets for two weeks demanding justice, but nothing was ever done. Police would destroy the memorial that they erected for Rasaan who was only 21 years old at the time he was murdered. a small riot broke out behind his death.

One bullet shatters Lives

on December 13 2014 two boys was on there way to basketball practice. tragic struck underneath a dark and cold vidoc in Chicago's Englewood area, just a few miles south of the loop on 63rd and state four teens attempted to rob Demario Bailey, and his twin brother of there coat and cell phones. Demario was shot in the chest just above his hart and died instantly on the scene. the four boys went and ate Italian beef sandwiches after killing a teen for nothing. Chicago Police now has them in custody for the murders and they all will be charged as adults two are sixteen the oldest is 17. below is the mother of Demario Bailey speaking at her sons funeral. she pleaded with mothers and fathers to start loving there kids. perhaps if they were loved then they would not have taken my son from me, and went and ate Italian Beefs afterward. Demario was laid to rest on December 19 2014 a few days before Christmas.

Joshua Dorsey is one of my young models. after seeing his older cousins do the modeling thing for my upcoming greeting cards he decided that he also wanted to give it a try. so I took him up on the offer and told him to come along with his older cousin Raekwon Harris. at first I didn't think that Joshua was modeling material but when he came out of his shirt I saw the possibilities. in black America it is often taboo for another guy to photograph young men this way, but as a photographer I was tired of just seeing white boys or young men on cards in stores that caters to black people. I decided if it's okay for young white boys to be on greeting cards why not put black teens on some to. but I can clearly see so far at least in Chicago no one is trying to hear me, or give me a chance, some think it's a form of child porn, or pedophilia, I disagree because Joshua is at the beach and it's summer time, also he's not naked below the waist. and he's not in a sexual position with a female and most boys tend to walk around shirtless during the hot days of summer. while some hate me for doing shots like this, there are many who love it. some people have asked where are the females at? well to be honest I am just working with the fellas right now if this launches then I will use females, Joshua Dorsey isn't that young but he is in his late teens. I also want to use females who really want to do this, I don't promise any one the cover of vogue or other big name magazines or T.V commercials, I do promise them this if I choose to photograph you then your image has been chosen for my greeting cards. the title sex appeal simply means you have to have the look to attract the bee to the nectar which is simply beauty. " I say to my critics what's wrong with girls and boys being attracted to each other I believe God meant for us to be that way. none of my young models are forced to do anything they feel uncomfortable with doing, Joshua was with his older cousin who is 22 years old Raekwon Harris and he had every opportunity to stop doing the shoot but he chose not to. new ideas are often misunderstood until some white person gets in the game.
